TOTEM GUARDIANS coloring book for adults, teens and children. Totem Guardians colouring book is based on my paintings from Totem Guardians Oracle deck that was published by U.S. Games Systems in 2024. The theme of this book, just like the oracle deck, is inspired by the natural world of fauna. Some of the animals that I chose are common, others are unusual, and some are mythical or imaginary. Most are depicted with their human companions, some by themselves, and a few appear in the form of a shape-shifter. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- - It features 42 one sided fantasy art illustrations by artist Tanya Bond . Being single sided helps to make sure that the medium doesn't bleed onto the next design through the page. However I still recommend using a sheet of card under the page when you are colouring. - Please note that createspace paper is quite thin . If paper thickness is important to you please seek PDF edition of this book on etsy. The hardcover edition has the same type of paper inside as the softcover . - I recommend using prismacolor colored pencils, polychromos coloured pencils, Caran d'Ache, Inktense. Use promarkers/copics/sharpies and other markers just for small touch ups as well as gel pens (use sheet of card under the page you are colouring) ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------- This colouring book is quite unusual in its creation. Unlike my Inklings series, the images for the Totem Guardians Oracle Deck were originally painted in oils and pastels, rather than drawn with pen and ink. I wanted this colouring book to have the same hand-drawn feel as Inklings, so instead of running my paintings through a program, I carefully redrew each of them by hand in pen and ink using a light box. Some images laid themselves easily into a linework style, while others, the more painterly ones, that relied more so on colour and blending rather than the lines, were a bit trickier to transform into a colouring page form. This has been a very long process and finally I’m happy to present this book to you. For colour ideas I recommend checking the original Totem Guardians Oracle deck, which is filled with inspirational and healing messages. I hope you will enjoy colouring it as much as I enjoyed creating the images and the book.
