That is why I feel it is so important to engage our faith as we process trauma and grief. However, faith must be engaged correctly. If Biblical truths are used to diminish or belittle a person’s experience in any way, a significant barrier to healing can be added. The purpose of integrating faith into this workbook is to give you the time to process how your faith intersects with your experience and healing journey, to assure you that God is not intimidated by significant grief, and that He sees you and understands you.
