Welcome to the workbook edition of my lecture notes for Calculus for Engineers on Coursera. This 8x10 inch edition provides you space to take your own notes and solve the course's problems and quizzes. The course has six modules, and I have divided its content into two workbooks. Part 1 of the workbook covers Modules 1-3, and Part 2 covers Modules 4-6. The workbooks, like my PDF lecture notes, are divided into chapters called Lectures, with each Lecture corresponding to a video on Coursera. At the end of each lecture is a blank page for students to take their own notes. The course problems are then presented with ample space for students to write their solutions. Instructor-provided solutions can be found in the Appendix. The additional problems that are given as practice quizzes on the Coursera platform are also included, with ample space for students to solve these problems. If desired, the student-found solutions can then be transfered onto the Coursera platform. Instructor-provided solutions for these practice quizzes are also found in the Appendix. Finally, only in the workbook edition, I have included the graded quiz problems that form the assessments on the Coursera platform, with space for students to solve these problems. The multiple choice solutions can then be transfered directly to the Coursera platform to be graded. I encourage all students taking Calculus for Engineers to actively try to solve the problems and quizzes. Students who would like all the material in one place, including their own notes and worked problems and quizzes, can purchase this workbook and use it to improve their learning. Dedication and effort are necessary to master the concepts of calculus, and this workbook can document your progress and be saved for future reference.
