Therefore, we highly recommend customers use the battery within approximately 2-3 months, depending on the storage condition to receive optimal performance. Although our batteries have a 10-year shelf life (under special storage conditions), we advise customers not to store batteries for a long time due to the passivation characteristic.2. If your battery doesn't work when connected to the device, what to do？2-1 Test the OCV(Open Circuit Voltage). You can use the multi-meter to test the voltage. Standard voltage should be no less than 3.6V. If your battery is lower than 3.6V, please tell us.2-2 Test loading voltage. The loading voltage should be around 3.2V. If your loading voltage is higher than 3.2V, the battery is in good condition. Due to the passivation characteristic of lithium thionyl chloride, your loading voltage may not reach 3.2V immediately. You can connect the battery with a resistor and activate it with a multimeter.
