2024 updated = Easy Put-In-Place installation! ** Does require disassembling and cleaning your remote** DO NOT REMOVE THE WHITE PAPER! This is NOT a peel and stick part. Removing the white paper will cause major problems. Some customers are wathcing old videos of the peel and stick version then ignoring the instructions included with the product. Watch the installation video(s) Tested over 1 million button presses! Repairs ALL rubber contact buttons that have slowly worn out from heavy use. Directional, channel and volume are metal dome keys that can only be cleaned ButtonWorx membrane repair kit is installed onto the circuit board under the original keypad. Your old rubber buttons press down on the ButtonWorx pad and the new pad complete the switch (taking over the electrical fnction of the old rubber buttons). Nothing sticks to rubber keypads for long, that's why ButtonWorx is the only button repair that can last. Updated in 2024 to a full Put-In-Place with all new snap dome switches included. (*It does require dissasembly of remote) The repair needs to be placed so the power button on the top left is covered (another words, not upside down) and it needs to touch the circuit board. There is a 2mm thick acrylic light pipe plastic that is part of the keypad. This light pipe plastic needs to go on top of the repair. So the layers are 1 Green circuit board, 2 paper thin white sticker that holds the metal snap domes in palce, 3 ButtonWorx membrane repair pad, 4 thick plastic light pipe with white reflector, original 5 rubber keypad.
