Doubly Sacred, Parts 1 & 2 present a collection of parallel scripture stories, where two similar accounts form a doublet, three create' a triplet, and so on. On July 19, 2012, at 10:15 a.m., I received divine inspiration to write a book focused on these parallel scriptures. My task, as directed by the Lord, was to identify stories in the scriptures that were told more than once. Overcome with emotion, I wept and vowed to carry out His will. Perhaps the God of second chances was sending me a powerful message The parallel scripture stories naturally divided into four chapters, each named after phrases the Lord had recently spoken to me: 1. The First Five (Books of Moses), 2. "The Diaries (Chronicles of the Kings), 3. Witness, and 4. Receive It (Four Gospels). My heart's desire was to expand Chapter 4-which contains the Gospels of Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John-into a single, chronological narrative without adding or diminishing one word. I spent two days crafting the complex outline and another 25 days writing it by hand. "As I did, the life of the Savior became deeply inscribed upon my heart. Doubly Sacred, Part 1, explores the Creation story, the Chronicles of the Kings, and the prophets bearing witness to Isaiah's words. Here, the law of two or three witnesses is firmly established in parallel scriptures. In Doubly Sacred, Part 2, the life of the Savior unfolds in a chronological tapestry, enriched with doublets, triplets, and quadruplets. Through this journey, I have learned a vital lesson: if God speaks something twice, remember it; if He speaks it three times or more, memorize it!
