Tippy's found his home, and now it's time for the next search! Come along with your favorite little rescue dog as he sets out on what may be the most important quest of his life. Tippy explores the many ways that dogs make the world a better place and discovers a purpose that is perfect just for him. I'm a firm believer in that every child needs to grow up with dogs. Dogs play a very important role; protector, playmate, comforter. But they also require that kids learn responsibility and compassion. It's important to learn about the so many dogs that need to be rescued and what is involved in adopting a dog. Following Tippy on his life journey is a wonderful real life story. Tippy continues his journey in the second book, with a new home and new adventures. Simply adorable! I'm a firm believer in that every child needs to grow up with dogs. Tippy Finds His Purpose is informative, heart-warming, encouraging, and propels the reader/listener to ask themselves, "what is my purpose?" After reading Tippy's latest book to my visiting 5-year-old grandson last week, he smiled and asked me to read it again. (That is the first sign of a good book!) When I asked what he thought his purpose in life was, he quickly replied, "To be like Tippy and be myself." What a wonderful lesson to learn at a young age! Thanks, Tippy. My family is looking forward to reading more about what you are learning during future adventures with your Mama, Papa, Suzie, and Toby-the-Cat. -Dr. Nancy L. Muecke, private Career Counselor/Coach, former 25+ year college career counselor, and retired college administrator I have a 10 year old son and he loves reading this to his 5 year old sister! Really a fun book for kids, illustrations are really well done. If you haven't checked out "Tippy finds a home" you are missing out on a super fun book as well. This is great author and her love for fur babies and children comes through the pages! -Christopher Staver This book is the second one about Tippy and his new life. In the first one he found his home and now Tippy is on a journey to find his purpose. It's a great book to read with children who some day will go through similar decisions. Kids will love the illustrations which are full of deep, rich colors and there is plenty of charm as you see the expressive faces of the other dogs and humans. Wonderful book for story time. - K.
