Life has a way of directing you towards your passion, and if you listen to your inner voice, you can reach for the stars. After all, we are all good at something. This is a story of how I ignored my passion because I doubted my ability and simply followed the crowd. In so doing I had to find courage, ignore the naysayers, learn many lessons, absorb the pain, and most importantly, be myself. In the process, accept that not everyone will have your values, and learn how to cope when you are let down. We must each follow our own path, and I was fortunate to meet very interesting giants in music, theatre, business, politics and sport, and travel part of the way with them. Each time I was knocked down, my path gave me an opportunity to rise, and in so doing have amazing experiences I could never have imagined.
